It’s hard to break habits that we have come to love and adore. It’s difficult to loosen the grip on a hold that you don’t want to let go of. It’s grown on you as you’ve grown into the person that you think you are character traits, personality flaws and all.
What if wellness, the state of being healthy, wasn’t an expression of existence that one deemed possible or important? What if the philosophy of wellness, the state of being healthy, clashed with the status quo of the rat race that one was entered in to, upon becoming human within this time? What does it mean to be a member of a society that is as weak as it’s strongest link and therefore works everybody to a state of break down as a way to determine which citizen is most loyal? What happens?
Wellness and the state of being healthy becomes a personal goal maintained by personal mantras and fuelled by personal beliefs. And I for one don’t have a problem with that. In fact, I may possibly prefer it, as this wellness is a self determined wellness. This is a state of being healthy that is beyond trend and fad and buzzword. This wellness is self aligning and ancestrally defining. It is the product of an implosion of internal interactions, initiating inner-standing and self centering communication. Mummy always said, if you can’t hear, then you must feel. And this is the truth. If one cannot listen to the messages of the mind, body and soul, then one will simply have to feel what it is, that is attempting to be communicated.
So many of us look at the unrest in the world and speak of the need for peace and balance. Well, as it is within, so it is without. Our external world reflects our internal reality and we are in conflict within ourselves. We eat, what we know our bodies cannot handle. We overwork ourselves for reasons that we don’t understand. We infect each other with stress through negative vibrations and projections of energy. We know better, and we fight it. We crucify our better judgment, just as the propaganda machine that caters to the most narcissistic elements of our ego has programmed us to. We defend that which needs to be destroyed and destroy that which needs to be protected. For we as a collective are unwell. We are unbalanced. We are out of sync. So if this is the case, what of wellness and the state of being healthy?
Wellness now becomes a state of survival. A choice, as it has always been. It is imperative to break habits that corrode one’s existence and pollute one’s probabilities. It is essential to loosen the grip on a hold that leads you only to your own untimely demise. It is critical as we manifest into the designs of our very own minds character traits, personality flaws and all.!!!!
Wellness has now become a rare commodity. A mythical state of existence known only to those not burden by the plights of the technological expressions of human might. Or so some may believe. I for one am optimistic. For Wellness is a birthright. It is a natural state of being. It is what we are intended to do. For it is survival of the ‘Wellest’ out here! And it’s up to you…it’s really up to you.
As always, choice is the gift that blesses and curses our experiences dependent on the perspective of the being that is being as they choose to be! We can choose to be well.
- Start by listening.
- Start with being still.
- Turn everything off.
- Tune everything out.
- And begin to be well again!
It is natural to create rituals that become habits that centre self It is purposeful to hold on to cultural traditions that show the way to stay aligned with the past that manifested this future present moment that is now It is the only way to move forward. Sankofa. Awake
You greet another day with the choices that you make. Decide what you will leave. Decide what you will take. Decisions are the key to release what you don’t need. If you’re gonna let it be, then you have to let it be. Be mindful not to keep the residue of anything that had you feeling weak, like what was said, versus what you think.
Sometimes your own assumptions are the weights that make you sink
You’re feeling down, and it can be an addiction. Getting up, can be filled with hesitation. It takes determination. Don’t fall for the distractions. These attractions that are tugging on your soul ssking you to stay, when you know you have to go. Know the things you know as your path is just your own lessons will be lessened if you listen to their fear. Hear your truth and keep it near and then you just Breathe.
