Naomi Campbell brings the drama to her W Magazine shoot as she talks about her acting methods and her role in the new musical TV series, Star.
Naomi has now turned her focus on her acting career, and we have found out that she can cry on cue just as good as striking an eye piercing pose on the catwalk. ‘I just go to that place of pain,’ Miss Campbell told W Magazine in order to explain how she is able to cry on demand.
On the hit TV show, Empire produced by Lee Daniels, she plays the cunning Camilla Marks-Whiteman who fights for Hakeem Lyon to gain his father’s record company. Of course this did not end well , nothing ever ends well in this show. Camilla was forced to take her own life by Lucsious Lyon and so she did. However, Naomi leaves us all in suspense when she says:
‘She definitely drank poison, but I can’t say if she died…”
Speaking on her acting methods, Naomi says that “it’s like therapy.” She gained all her skills from Susan Batson, her drama coach who also works with Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise.
Working with Lee Daniels again, Naomi will be starred in a new musical drama which will premiere early 2017 on Fox. On the show she will be playing Rose Spencer, a rich mother of three young women. Alongside Naomi will be, Lenny Kravitz who will play her rockstar husband and Queen Latifah, the godmother of her other two daughters in the drama.
This is not the first time Naomi Campbell has been featured in W Magazine. Her previous shoot with them was based in the West- African country, Ghana. Take a look at her in action:
